New Long-Range Wildfire Detection Appliance Using Radiometric Thermal Cameras. The Security Oracle has designed, delivered and deployed for live and remote on-site testing a *NEW* Purpose Built Appliance--Power Line Early Alert System--(PLEAS™), that can detect, in real time, hotspots and vegetation encroachment in transmission and delivery ROWs. We completed our second tour of California Power Utilities in May demonstrating PLEAS™, and then again at the Critical Infrastructure Summit exhibition in Washington, DC where TSO was a featured speaker / workshop leader.
TSO rolls out PLEAS™ during the California Showcase Wildfire Detection and Wildfire Mitigation Tour: Charles Butler, CEO and Tim Cole, TSO Principal Consultant & PE, supported by Wang and Associates, supporting role of California resident and TSO officer, Richard D. Stringham, CFO and Fujitsu Americas, delivered briefings, workshops and demos to a major IOU and others.
The Security Oracle collaborates with our partners to manufacture our first-ever PLEAS™ fixed and mobile units with a schedule for roll out and deployment during California Fire Chiefs Meetings in November. PLEAS™, Power Line Early Alert System is an AI driven robotic Safety Appliance that alerts on an early wildfire, providing early WILDFIRE DETECTION and enables early WILDFIRE MITIGATION.
The Security Oracle travels to Dallas TX area to discuss MOU and potential Teaming Agreement with a multi-billion dollar *robotics* manufacturing company and introduced our newest purpose-built appliance Robots on the Move™.
The Security Oracle discusses with major Utilities the efficacy of our patent pending robotic brain at the core of our AI driven platforms: Robots in the Sky™; Robots on the Move™ and PLEAS™, Power Line Early Alert System. The Security Oracle releases a world premiere documentary - “300 Seconds” - wherein TSO reveals our Artificial Intelligence Driven Robotic Defense Platform that will solve the Wicked Problem of School Shooters. The TSO team travels to Salt Lake City, where the documentary was filmed, to meet with Utah Legislators as well as host the world premiere of “300 Seconds” with a group of concerned students, parents, teachers and educators.
Excerpts from PowerMag.com: The North American Electric Reliability Corp. (NERC) standard on physical security—known as Critical Infrastructure Protection-014 (CIP-014)—includes six basic requirements, but perhaps the most challenging for power companies is to develop and implement a documented physical security plan. Tower-mounted robotics powered by artificial intelligence could make that easier.
The U.S. power grid is wide open for attack. More than 200,000 miles of high-voltage transmission lines, interspersed with hundreds of large electric power transformers and substations span the country, often in remote locations. In response to growing threats, NERC issued requirements for the physical security of critical transmission stations and substations, and their associated primary control centers. Meeting these mandates is costly and complicated for utility owners and operators. Fortunately, new advancements in technology—particularly in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence—can offer proactive protection against attackers at a reasonable cost and help utilities achieve compliance.
TSO presented, along with Bosch Security, a Global Retail Security Appliance briefing to one of the world’s largest retailers, and demonstrated how TSO’s disruptive robotic non-lethal solution, Remotely Controlled Active Defense and Denial System (RCADS®) and Robots in the Sky™, integrated with Bosch’s moving cameras, including those with starlight technology for low light conditions and infrared illumination for complete darkness, can instantly zoom in on the precise location of detected criminal activity; and through RCADS’ intelligent coordinator alert retail store management of abnormal activities on their premises. The camera(s) can instantly zoom in on the precise location of traffickers and shooter(s) once a gunshot is detected, making shoppers and workers feel safer in retail areas.
TSO team and partner, Anna Wang of Wang & Associates, exhibited at DHS Week in DC. , and we were told we were best in show and were interviewed by the show organizers, IDGA, and a highlights segment will be posted to their website.
Following our live fire tests for City of Columbus, OH, at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy; and World Changing Ideas for Security Appliance Applications briefings for Gallagher Channel Partner Conference, in Cincinnati, OH, Charles Butler and Robert Schmidt traveled to Carlisle and Finch Co., HQ in Cincinnati, and viewed their manufacturing facility discussing strategic goals.
Shortly thereafter, TSO received an impressive testimonial letter from Garth Finch, Senior VP.
TSO team and Wang & Associates, our Columbus, OH partners, following our live fire test for the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy, traveled to Cincinnati to present our World Changing Ideas & Game Changer Opportunity to dozens of global integrators, hosted by Gallagher Channel Partner Conference.
On October 10, 2017 The Security Oracle’s team of 7 partnered with our teaming partner, Bosch Security and DARPA contracted engineers to travel to the first-ever SMART CITY winner, Columbus, OH, to perform live fire tests of our GDS.ai™ platform.
Following two days of NERC CIP inspections, TSO leadership was called and told our RCADS® deployments “passed with flying colors and then some”. RCADS® is a defense in breadth security appliance, per 3rd party compliance consultants, Wang & Associates.
